What are ther maintenece costs for a Ferrari or Lamborghini that is about 3 to 4 years old?

I am looking into buying a 2002 or so Ferrari and or Lambo and would like to know the maintenece costs for such a car. ( Oil changes, Tire rotations, etc.)|||This is truly an if you have to ask then you really can't afford it. It is real hard to give and estimate, If you are going to take it to the dealer then review their hourly rates. If you are going to take it to an import shop ask around as to who is the best. The best isn't always expensive. I charge the same competitive rates to all, it is in the pricing of the replacement parts that skyrockets the price. Since they are imported sometimes I have lambo's in the shop for a month waiting on a part...like a solenoid I just can't use the Autozone one as it doesn't fit the package, it will run 75 bucks just for a simple headlight relay because I have to order it fom a broker.|||my buddy has a gallardo and also a f430....both are beautiful cars and extremely fast. he is EXTREMELY wealthy and he told me that "the amount of money spent on maintaining these cars is RIDICULOUS" which im taking as TOO MUCH!!!|||yeah, if you have to ask then you can't afford it!|||As others have said, if you are concerned on the cost of ownership front, these are probably not cars you should be considering. I don't know what the Lamborghini service would run, though I imagine it would be similar to the Ferrari.





I've instructed at more than a few open track events, and have spent time talking with Ferrari owners about there cars (and on occassion enjoyed the wonderful experience of taking a few hot laps behind the wheel!). They are not inexpensive cars to own. Basic service would run in the $2-3k area, and major service would be in the $10k range.





Though that is honestly just the tip of the iceberg... you mention tire rotations? As most of these cars will use directional treads with wider rubber in the back, you do not rotate the tires. The tires used on a car like this are very soft and will not last long... if you drive the car even somewhat regularly, you may find you need to account for $3k as an annual tire budget. And because they are soft performance tires, when one wears out you tend to replace all four because you want to keep the grip levels similar at all corners.





And just think of the joy of driving it alot, when after you stomach the gas costs and costs of a few basic services a year, you discover an extra $12k for new brakes. There are alot of things you can do to keep the costs down with these cars, but they will never come close to being inexpensive.|||depends on which car from each company you are thinking of getting, but if you are actually rich enough to own these cars, then who cares about the maintenance cost





there is one Ferrari out there, it escapes me which one, but i heard that an oil change for it is the cost of buying 2 Lamborghinis(they didn't say which Lamborghini though)|||your right arm or left nut depending on the car

How do you think team Ferrari will do this year?

Their new car looks sick and the drivers are the same, do you think that Alonso and Massa can get the job done?|||Well the biggest good thing about the current Ferrari car is its superb reliability !!! The total race distance this year is about 6,100Km and number of testing miles by Ferrari is the highest and exceeds 6,100km!!





They seem reasonably quick.No one knows what fuel loads and what tyres each team were running at the tests so its extremely hard to picture where exactly teams are in the pecking order. But that said , Ferrari have been doing very very consistent race simulations with lap times not varying a lot. This is a strong sign that the car has a very good balance and is soft on the tyres . Being soft on the tyres is the key to success in this championship as the Pirelli tyres have high rates of degradation.





As to the drivers both are extremely capable and competitive . Alonso needless to say is lightning quick and Massa who was struggling last year has really picked up this season. Last year the front bridgestone tyres were relatively hard and did not suit Massa's style of driving. But the Pirelli tyres do seem to suit him and he set the fastest time of the entire second test at Barcelona!!





In short as long as Ferrari keep up with the development and their pace and reliability too, I think they'll have a very good chance at the Constructors championship. As to the drivers.. its too early to say anything !!!|||I think they will do well. Ferrari is usually very cautious about pre-season testing result but Alonso seems very positive and confident they are up to spec and can challenge for the title this year from the start of the season.|||I am a Ferrari fan and hoping they will have a strong year like they did in the second half of the 2010 season however going on last year, Redbull will be the team to beat like they were last year|||I think that Ferrari can have a good season, like also Redbull, Mercedes and McLaren.|||They'll be second I guess. Just behind Red Bull and faster then Mercedes/Renault. Then Mclaren. Then Sauber/Williams/Toro Rosso. Then Force India/Lotus. Then Virgin and far behind that HRT.|||From what I'm hearing, they are the best of the rest. RedBull appear to be the strongest.|||they will do better

What super car is better ferrari enzo fxx or lamborghini reventon?

If you could tell me why there are no videos about this in youtube it would be great|||i personally think the ferrari enzo is the best car because its made for the track and racing. the Lamborghini is also a good racing car but it weights much more. Maybe there aren't any youtube videos because these cars are to expensive.|||The Reventon gives out more horses therefore more power. Depends on what your looking for though. Personally i would go for the Reventon as it is designed for perfect stability at high speeds. Is it good to drive Ferrari F50 in the Philippines?

I know it is lowered that can hit any humps in the road and it's easy to out of fuel.|||If you can afford a Ferrari F50 then you can afford repaving the road.|||It is not a practical car to have in the Philippines.





Because of the state of the roads, so you can never use the car's performance.





Even in Metro Manila there are floods which are often more than 12 inches deep so it is best to have a high ground clearance vehicle.





It will also make you a target for scallywag officials and robbers because they will know you have plenty of money.





Get yourself a sensible SUV which can handle anything that you may come across.





If you really want to spend a lot of money, get a Range Rover, Toyota Landcruiser or BMW SUV.





If you wait a few months, you can get a Lexus SUV when they are launched in Manila.|||You know chum, I am from the Philippines. And I've got a bad news and a good news for you. The bad news is you cannot find even a single Ferrari in the road here in the Philippines. And the good news is they can be displayed on some car shows here in the Philippines. But if you'll be driving a Ferrari here in the Philippines, make sure you have a lot of cash and good securities around.|||Watch out for the Jeepneys.
