Restoring a Ferrari F40, How much would it cost?

How much do you thing it takes to restore a 1992 Ferrari F40. It is in terrible condition, due to it having engine problems, making it burn the body down!! So how much do you think it would take if I was to pay a professional restorer to take on this project?|||Expect to pay around $200,000, as the F40 is a very rare exotic, its parts are scarce, and there are very few mechanics who can do an exemplary job. Good luck!

Hope this helps~~~|||Go for at least 250,000

Hard to find a pro now, as no one will pay that much anymore.

go sell the junkbox and get something else.

See, you basically are going to buy 70%-80% of a good F40 in separate pieces, wich is about 200,000 and up. then, some parts could find original, some not. originals are always expensive and may not work as well, though the cars value increases|||Currently the F40's are trading around $600,000, expect to invest around $160,000 to get it into top shape. Make sure you don't cheap out on the paint job, you will regret it later on. Don't rush it either, plan on it taking at least 6-8 weeks. Make sure the steering wheel and shifter are mint, any Ferrari enthusiast will not appreciate the car otherwise. Also, don't be afraid to spend $2,000 on new mats because they will definetely be worth it.|||About the same as the cost of the car when new.

Over 250,000.|||Since you want an expert and it's old and rare and from the sounds of it everything is destroyed then probably 300, 000 but if you are able to still drive it then it would be a bit less. By the way that car rocks!
