What other cars raced the ferrari 250gt in the 60s?

the ferrari raced the shelby daytona's in the 60's but what else? also i think it raced the db4's am i right?|||The main years for the 250 GT SWB were up through 1964 (with the 275 arriving in 1965). The early part of it's years it ran in the GT 3.0 class, and in many races it was the only car in it's class. Though it was still racing against other classes too, which would have included cars like the Maserati Tipo 63, Ferrari 250TR, and Aston Martin DB4 above it, and cars like the Porsche 718RSK, Porsche Abarth 356 GTL, and the Morgan +4 below it.

The classes would soon be consididated though, leading to the GT 3.0+ class, which then led to in class competition from the previoulsy mentioned Aston Martin DB4, as well as the Aston Martin DP214 and DBR. Other class competitors would include the Austin Healy 3000, Jaguar E-Type, AC Cobra, Shelby Daytona, and the Sunbeam Tiger. The occasional Corvette entry would have also been in the same class.

Due to the nature of competition in these years, it would also be possible to find all kinds of strange entries at any given race as manufacturing might lead a former prototype car to become a GT, and an engine change move it up or down in a class... so ultimately almost any sports racer of this era probably competed against these cars at some time or another.|||Don,t forget jaguar
